A key section of the agency BizOps reporting I do is tracking how profitable we are on individual projects. Before I stepped in, we had no consistent way of tracking our spend and thus couldn't easily determine where to focus our attention.

Leveraging NetSuite's saved searches, I created a search that automatically pulled actuals to date and future projected hours. In order for a project manager to track spend, he or she would just input their budget into the Excel template I designed and paste in the NetSuite data. The template automatically formatted the data by month and had an error checker to ensure it was used correctly.

I also leveraged Box's "request a file" feature to neatly organize the burn report submissions for my team and other stakeholders to review.
